  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 kg (about 8 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g fresh yeast (or 2 packets active dry yeast)

Directions

  1. 1

Combine the warm water, milk, sugar, oil, eggs, salt, and yeast in a blender. Blend until smooth and well combined.

  2. 2

Pour the mixture into a large bowl. Gradually add the flour, stirring well after each addition, until you get a soft, slightly sticky dough.

  3. 3

Grease a large baking pan generously with butter or margarine. Spread the dough evenly into the pan.

  4. 4

Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

  5. 5

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Bake for approximately 50 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

💡 Chef's Tip

For the softest crumb, use full-fat milk at room temperature. Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract or lemon zest to the batter for extra flavor.
