🛒 Ingredients

20 servings

20
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sunflower oil
  • 1½ cups warm milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 15 g active dry yeast (about 1½ packets)

Directions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, crack in the eggs and beat lightly with a fork.

  2. 2

Add the warm milk, oil, sugar, salt, and yeast. Stir until well combined.

  3. 3

Gradually incorporate the flour, mixing until the dough pulls away cleanly from your hands.

  4. 4

Knead the dough for 15 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. 5

Shape into small rolls of your desired form — rounds, ovals, or knots.

  6. 6

Arrange on an ungreased baking sheet and let rise at room temperature until doubled in size.

  7. 7

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (350 °F) for about 30 minutes until deep golden brown.

💡 Chef's Tip

Brush the rolls with a mixture of beaten egg and milk just before baking for an extra shiny, bakery-style crust.
