🛒 Ingredients

15 servings

15
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ cups warm milk
  • 1 packet (10 g) instant dry yeast
  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • ½ cup pitted black olives, sliced
  • 1 cup palm hearts, sliced into rounds
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar

Directions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, combine the flour, eggs, oil, and salt. Stir together with a spoon until roughly incorporated.

  2. 2

Add the sugar, instant yeast, and warm milk. Mix well until you get a smooth, uniform batter-like dough.

  3. 3

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and let the dough rise for 30 minutes in a warm, enclosed space (a turned-off oven or closed microwave works great).

  4. 4

    Preheat your oven to 360 °F (180 °C).

  5. 5

Grease a large rectangular baking pan with oil. Pour in the dough and spread it evenly using the back of a wet spoon.

  6. 6

In a bowl, mix the drained tuna, cream cheese, sliced olives, and palm hearts. Spread the topping evenly over the entire surface of the dough.

  7. 7

Sprinkle generously with dried oregano and shredded cheese.

  8. 8

Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the dough is fully cooked and the top is lightly golden.

💡 Chef's Tip

For an even fluffier crust, swap half the oil for plain yogurt. Feel free to add corn, roasted peppers, or shredded chicken to the topping.
