🛒 Ingredients

10 servings

10
  • 75 g (5 tbsp) unsalted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 180 g (1½ cups) sweetened chocolate powder (e.g. Nesquik)
  • 75 g (6 tbsp) granulated sugar
  • 90 g (¾ cup) all-purpose flour
  • A pinch of salt

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Melt the butter and set it aside to cool slightly.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until the mixture is pale and slightly fluffy, about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

Pour the cooled melted butter into the egg mixture and stir until fully combined and smooth.

  4. 4

Sift in the chocolate powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently with a spatula until just combined — do not overmix or the brownies will turn cakey.

  5. 5

Grease a 20×20 cm (8×8 in) baking pan with butter and dust with cocoa powder. Pour in the batter and spread it evenly.

  6. 6

Bake for 25–30 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the center — it should come out with a few moist crumbs for perfectly fudgy brownies.

💡 Chef's Tip

For the fudgiest result, pull the brownies out when the center still has a very slight jiggle — they will firm up as they cool. Let them rest at least 15 minutes before slicing for clean, bakery-style cuts.
