  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 tbsp sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 1 oz butter (for the sauce)

    Melt 3.5 oz of chocolate and 3.5 oz of butter in a double boiler

    Whisk 3/4 cup of sugar with 2 eggs until the mixture turns pale

    Combine the chocolate-butter mixture with the sugar-egg mixture

    Add 3/4 cup of flour, a pinch of salt, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract

    Pour the batter into a greased 8x8 inch square baking pan
