🛒 Ingredients

4 servings

4
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 395 g)
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 pinch of fine salt

Directions

  1. 1

Pour the sweetened condensed milk into a medium bowl or a small saucepan over low heat.

  2. 2

Sift in the cocoa powder gradually, whisking continuously to prevent lumps and achieve a smooth, uniform mixture.

  3. 3

Add the butter pieces and pinch of salt; stir vigorously until the butter is fully melted and the glaze turns shiny and silky.

  4. 4

Use immediately to coat a cake or allow to cool for 5 minutes for a thicker, fudge-like consistency perfect for eating by the spoonful.

💡 Chef's Tip

Use high-quality 100% pure dark cocoa powder for a deeper, less sweet flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days and reheat gently before using.
