  • 5.3 oz Shredded cheese (mozzarella)
  • 5.3 oz Cooked shredded meat
  • 1 Finely chopped onion
  • 4.2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Prepare the filling by mixing the shredded cheese, cooked shredded meat, and finely chopped onion.

    Place one teaspoon of filling in the center of each dough square.

    Fold into a triangle and seal the edges well.

    Heat the oil to 356°F (180°C).

    Fry the pastries 3-4 at a time until golden and crispy (2-3 minutes).

    Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

💡 Chef's Tip

You can freeze the raw pastries and fry them directly. For a lighter version, bake in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes.
