🛒 Ingredients

8 servings

8
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 395 g)
  • 1 cup heavy cream or table cream (200 ml)
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • chocolate sprinkles for topping
  • butter for greasing the pan

Directions

  1. 1

Generously butter a round Bundt pan or ring mold (about 9 inches / 22 cm in diameter).

  2. 2

Add the condensed milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, butter, and eggs to a blender. Blend on high speed for about 2 minutes until the mixture doubles in volume and becomes smooth and airy.

  3. 3

Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.

  4. 4

Microwave on full power for 10 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center — it should come out clean.

  5. 5

Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then carefully unmold onto a serving plate.

  6. 6

Top generously with chocolate sprinkles and serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.

💡 Chef's Tip

For the creamiest texture, refrigerate the flan for 30 minutes before serving. Swap chocolate sprinkles for dark chocolate shavings or crushed hazelnuts for a more sophisticated finish.
