Easy Cinnamon Banana Cake

- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- ½ cup (120 ml) milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 8 ripe bananas
- Extra sugar and cinnamon for dusting

Preheat your oven to 400 °F (200 °C). Grease a medium baking dish generously with butter.

Whisk together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg with the melted butter and milk until smooth and fully combined.

Peel the bananas, slice them in half lengthwise and dust them with a mix of sugar and cinnamon.

Spread half of the dry mixture evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Arrange the cinnamon-dusted banana halves on top in a single layer, then cover with the remaining dry mixture.
