🛒 Ingredients

4 servings

4
  • 1 can (14 oz / 397 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • ¾ cup (200 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 3.5 oz (100 g) dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
  • 3.5 oz (100 g) milk chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ½ cup (50 g) unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions

  1. 1

Combine the condensed milk, butter, and cocoa powder in a medium saucepan over low heat.

  2. 2

Stir continuously with a spatula until the mixture thickens and starts pulling away from the sides of the pan, about 8–10 minutes.

  3. 3

Remove from heat and add both chocolates, stirring until fully melted and perfectly smooth.

  4. 4

Pour in the heavy cream and whisk vigorously until the sauce is silky, glossy, and fully combined.

  5. 5

Adjust consistency: add more cream for a thinner, pourable sauce or use less for a thicker ganache.

  6. 6

Serve warm over your favourite desserts or store for later use.

💡 Chef's Tip

Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 3 days. Rewarm gently in a double boiler or microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each. Use a mix of dark and milk chocolate for the most balanced flavour.
