10
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 395 g)
  • 4 tbsp whole powdered milk (plus extra for coating)
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • Powdered milk for rolling

Directions

  1. 1

Combine the condensed milk, powdered milk, butter, and salt in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.

  2. 2

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a spatula for 8–10 minutes until the mixture thickens and pulls away cleanly from the sides of the pan.

  3. 3

Transfer to a lightly buttered plate and allow to cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.

  4. 4

Butter your hands lightly, then scoop small portions and roll them into smooth balls the size of a marble.

  5. 5

Roll each ball in powdered milk to coat evenly, then place in paper cups to serve.

💡 Chef's Tip

Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving for a firmer texture. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
