🛒 Ingredients

35 servings

35
  • 400 g (14 oz) whole powdered milk
  • 250 g (1¼ cups) granulated sugar
  • 100 ml (⅓ cup) full-fat coconut milk
  • 100 g (1 cup) shredded coconut, for the dough
  • 100 g (1 cup) shredded coconut, for coating

Directions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, combine the powdered milk, sugar, and 100 g of shredded coconut and stir until evenly mixed.

  2. 2

Add the coconut milk gradually and knead with your hands for 2–3 minutes until a smooth, pliable dough forms that holds its shape.

  3. 3

Pinch off small portions and roll between your palms to form balls roughly the size of a walnut.

  4. 4

Roll each ball in the remaining shredded coconut until fully coated.

  5. 5

Arrange on a lined tray and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving.

💡 Chef's Tip

Full-fat coconut milk gives the creamiest result. If the dough feels too dry, add coconut milk one teaspoon at a time. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
