🛒 Ingredients

8 servings

8
  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk (about 790 g total)
  • 1 can whole milk (use the condensed milk can as measure, approx. 395 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 200 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar (to coat the pan)

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 150 °C (300 °F). Butter a Bundt or ring cake pan generously, then coat it evenly with granulated sugar by rotating the pan; set aside.

  2. 2

Combine the sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, butter, cocoa powder, and eggs in a blender. Blend on high for 2–3 minutes until perfectly smooth and uniform.

  3. 3

Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve directly into the prepared pan to ensure a silky, lump-free texture.

  4. 4

Place the pan inside a large roasting dish filled with hot water halfway up the sides to create a water bath. Bake for 55–65 minutes, until the center is just set and firm to the touch.

  5. 5

Cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is ideal) before unmolding onto a serving plate.

💡 Chef's Tip

Run a thin-bladed knife around the edges of the pan before unmolding to ensure a clean release. Serve well chilled, optionally topped with lightly whipped cream or dark chocolate shavings for an elegant finish.
