🛒 Ingredients

12 servings

12
  • 4 eggs
  • 300 g milk chocolate
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200 g)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120 g)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (or brigadeiro filling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch flaky sea salt

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 150 °C (300 °F) and line a rectangular baking pan with greased parchment paper.

  2. 2

Melt the butter and chocolate in a bain-marie (or in the microwave in 1-minute bursts), stirring until smooth.

  3. 3

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is smooth and slightly frothy.

  4. 4

Add the vanilla, then the melted chocolate, and mix vigorously.

  5. 5

Fold in the flour and flaky salt, stirring gently until the batter is just combined.

  6. 6

Pour half of the batter into the pan and smooth the surface with a spatula.

  7. 7

Spread the sweetened condensed milk over the whole surface, leaving a one-centimeter border.

  8. 8

Cover with the remaining batter and level it gently.

  9. 9

Bake for 20 to 30 minutes: the center should stay slightly fudgy when tested with a knife tip.

  10. 10

Let it cool completely in the pan before unmolding.

  11. 11

Cut into even squares with a knife dipped in hot water for clean edges.

💡 Chef's Tip

For a gooey center, take the brownie out while the middle still jiggles slightly. A knife dipped in hot water guarantees perfectly clean squares.
