🛒 Ingredients

2 servings

2
  • 2 ripe passion fruits (pulp and seeds)
  • 1/3 cup (80 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice

Directions

  1. 1

Halve the passion fruits and scoop the pulp and seeds into a small saucepan.

  2. 2

Add the sugar, water, and lime juice. Stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves completely.

  3. 3

Increase the heat to medium-high and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

  4. 4

Cook for 2–3 minutes until the syrup turns golden and lightly coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and cool before serving.

💡 Chef's Tip

Strain through a fine-mesh sieve for a smooth coulis without seeds. Keeps up to 5 days refrigerated in an airtight jar.
