🛒 Ingredients

10 servings

10
  • 1 can (7 oz / 200 g) thick heavy cream, liquid whey discarded
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Juice of 1 fresh lime
  • Grape clusters, apple slices, or decorations of choice (optional)

Directions

  1. 1

Place the unopened can of cream in the freezer for about 1 hour until it firms up but doesn't freeze solid.

  2. 2

Carefully open the can and drain off the liquid whey. Transfer only the thick cream into a cold plastic or glass bowl.

  3. 3

Add the granulated sugar and beat vigorously with a spatula or whisk until the cream turns slightly golden and reaches a smooth, uniform consistency.

  4. 4

Gradually pour in the lime juice while continuing to beat until the frosting becomes silky, glossy, and slightly firm.

  5. 5

Using a cake spatula, spread the frosting over your cake or dessert with smooth, even strokes for a flawless finish.

  6. 6

Allow to set for a few minutes at room temperature, then decorate with grape clusters, apple slices, or your preferred toppings.

💡 Chef's Tip

For a fluffier, more aerated texture, use an electric hand mixer instead of a spatula. Keep your bowl and utensils cold before starting for the best results.
