🛒 Ingredients

4 servings

4
  • 1/2 can (about 7 oz / 200 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • ¾ cup (200 ml) cold heavy whipping cream
  • 3.5 oz (100 g) chocolate-covered wafer bars (such as Kit Kat)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

Directions

  1. 1

Pour the cold heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract into a blender or large bowl. Blend or whisk at medium speed for 2–3 minutes until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and slightly airy.

  2. 2

Roughly break the chocolate wafer bars into irregular pieces, reserving a handful for garnish. Gently fold the pieces into the cream using a spatula with slow, sweeping motions to keep the texture light.

  3. 3

Spoon the cream into individual serving glasses or a shallow dish. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set and well chilled.

  4. 4

Just before serving, scatter the reserved wafer pieces on top and finish with a small pinch of flaky sea salt to enhance the chocolate flavor.

💡 Chef's Tip

For a frozen version, transfer the dessert to the freezer for 3–4 hours — it turns into a rich, scoopable homemade ice cream. Remove 5 minutes before serving to soften to the perfect texture. Add a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder to the cream mixture for a deeper, more intense chocolate taste.
