🛒 Ingredients

6 servings

6
  • 400 g milk chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 100 g dark chocolate (60% cocoa), broken into pieces
  • 200 ml light cream
  • 1 shot of Amarula liqueur (about 30 ml)
  • 1 banana, sliced into rounds
  • 200 g strawberries, hulled
  • 2 kiwis, peeled and diced
  • 100 g marshmallows

Directions

  1. 1

Place both chocolates in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high power for 1 minute. Stir well to check the consistency.

  2. 2

If the chocolate is not fully melted, continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.

  3. 3

Transfer the melted chocolate to a saucepan over medium heat. Add the cream and Amarula, stirring constantly with a spatula until the mixture is velvety and creamy.

  4. 4

Pour the fondue into a fondue pot or heatproof bowl over a small flame to keep warm. Arrange the fruits and marshmallows alongside and serve immediately for dipping.

💡 Chef's Tip

Use good-quality chocolate for the best flavour and texture. Baileys or Kahlúa can be substituted for Amarula if preferred. Keep the fondue warm over a low flame to prevent it from setting.
