Combine the sweetened condensed milk and the strawberry gelatin powder in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Stir well to incorporate the gelatin before applying any heat.

Cook over low heat, stirring constantly with a spatula, until the mixture thickens to a soft fudge-like consistency, about 10–12 minutes.
