🛒 Ingredients

16 servings

16
  • 4 packets of flavoured jelly, assorted flavours (about 85 g each)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (397 g)
  • 200 g thick double cream, well chilled (or whipping cream)
  • 1 packet strawberry jelly (about 85 g)
  • 1 glass hot water and 1 glass cold water, for the strawberry jelly

Directions

  1. 1

Prepare the 4 packets of jelly separately following the instructions on each packet. Pour each into a shallow dish and chill for at least 3 hours, until completely set.

  2. 2

Turn the set jellies out and cut them into small cubes, about 1 cm. Spread the cubes evenly in a large mould or divide them between individual glasses.

  3. 3

Dissolve the strawberry jelly in the hot water, then stir in the cold water. Blend this with the condensed milk and cream for about 5 minutes, until completely smooth.

  4. 4

Pour the cream over the jelly cubes, fold gently with a spatula and refrigerate for at least 4 hours — overnight is even better — until the dessert is fully set.

💡 Chef's Tip

Rinse the mould quickly with cold water or line it with cling film before pouring in the cream for a clean turn-out. Swap the flavours with the seasons: berry jellies in summer, citrus in winter. It's the ideal make-ahead dessert for a celebration.
