🛒 Ingredients

1 servings

1
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 397 g)
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ½ cup whole milk

Directions

  1. 1

Combine the milk, cocoa powder, butter, and condensed milk in a medium saucepan and whisk together off the heat.

  2. 2

Place over low heat and stir constantly with a spatula to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

Cook until the glaze thickens and coats the back of a spoon, about 8–10 minutes.

  4. 4

Remove from heat, cool for 5 minutes, then pour generously over your cake or dessert.

💡 Chef's Tip

For an extra-glossy finish, stir in 1 teaspoon of coconut oil at the end of cooking. Use warm for a pourable consistency or let it cool completely for a thicker, fudge-like topping.
