🛒 Ingredients

1 servings

1
  • 1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup (200 ml) whole milk, measured using the empty condensed milk can

Directions

  1. 1

Combine the sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, butter, and whole milk in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.

  2. 2

Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously with a silicone spatula for 8–10 minutes, until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.

  3. 3

Remove from heat, let cool for 2–3 minutes, then pour evenly over your warm cake for a smooth, glossy finish.

💡 Chef's Tip

For an extra-glossy finish, stir in an additional teaspoon of butter off the heat. Leftover glaze keeps in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days — gently reheat in a double boiler before using again.
