🛒 Ingredients

5 servings

5
  • 1 envelope (7 g) unflavored gelatin powder
  • 2 ripe passion fruits
  • 1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (10 oz / 300 ml) heavy whipping cream

Directions

  1. 1

Dissolve the gelatin in 5 tablespoons of warm water according to package directions and allow to cool to room temperature.

  2. 2

Halve the passion fruits and scoop out the pulp. Blend briefly with the cooled gelatin, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds.

  3. 3

Pour the strained passion fruit juice into the blender with the condensed milk and heavy cream.

  4. 4

Blend for 1 minute until the mixture is smooth, fluffy, and well combined.

  5. 5

Pour into a large mold or individual cups and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until fully set.

💡 Chef's Tip

Save a few passion fruit seeds to scatter over each serving before bringing to the table — they add gorgeous texture and a pop of tropical color. This mousse keeps well in the fridge for up to 2 days.
