Grape Gelatin Mousse

By Marie Lefebvre · Updated October 16, 2026

A light, fruity mousse that tastes just like childhood afternoons. The grape brings a lovely sweet-tart flavour, while condensed milk makes it silky and smooth. It comes together in minutes, then chills quietly until it is ready to steal the show.

🛒 Ingredients

6 servings

6
  • 1 packet grape-flavoured gelatin (or 2 neutral gelatin sheets + 1 cup grape juice)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (about 14 oz / 400 g)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, well chilled
  • 1½ cups fresh grapes (red or green), to decorate
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar (optional)

Directions

  1. 1

Prepare the grape gelatin according to the packet instructions, stirring until fully dissolved, then let it cool for a few minutes.

  2. 2

In a blender, blitz the sweetened condensed milk with the well-chilled cream until completely smooth.

  3. 3

Add the cooled gelatin and blend for a few more seconds to combine.

  4. 4

Pour the mousse into glasses or a large mould and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, until fully set.

  5. 5

Just before serving, decorate with fresh grapes and a light dusting of powdered sugar.

💡 Chef's Tip

For an even airier texture, swap half the cream for stiffly whipped cream, folded in gently with a spatula at the very end.
