🛒 Ingredients

2 servings

2
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (100g) sweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup (125ml) water
  • ½ cup (50g) powdered whole milk

Directions

  1. 1

In a bowl, combine the granulated sugar, powdered milk, and sweetened cocoa powder. Whisk together until you have a uniform, lump-free dry mixture.

  2. 2

Transfer the dry mixture to a small saucepan, pour in the water, and stir to combine. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a full boil.

  3. 3

Reduce the heat to low and keep stirring for 3 minutes, allowing the glaze to thicken slightly and develop a glossy sheen.

  4. 4

Remove from heat and immediately pour over your cake or dessert while still warm. The glaze will set as it cools into a smooth, irresistible layer.

💡 Chef's Tip

For an extra glossy finish, stir in a small knob of butter off the heat just before glazing. If the glaze thickens too much, loosen it with a few drops of hot water.
