🛒 Ingredients

1 servings

1
  • 3 cups gluten-free flour (about 360 g)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1½ cups warm water (about 360 ml)

Directions

  1. 1

Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

Beat with an electric mixer for 6 minutes until the dough is smooth and even, similar in texture to a boxed cake batter.

  3. 3

Pour the dough into a 23 x 12 cm loaf tin, cover with a clean cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.

  4. 4

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 45 minutes, until nicely golden.

💡 Chef's Tip

Gluten-free dough is wetter than regular bread dough, so don't worry if it looks more like batter. Let the loaf cool completely before slicing, or it will crumble. A spoonful of chia or flax seeds adds extra flavour and texture.
