🛒 Ingredients

8 servings

8
  • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 200 g (7 oz) cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 1 pinch dried oregano
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. 1

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and onion and sauté until golden and fragrant.

  2. 2

Add the chicken cubes and cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked through and lightly golden on all sides.

  3. 3

Season with a pinch of dried oregano and salt to taste.

  4. 4

Add the cream cheese to the pan and stir well until it melts completely and forms a smooth, creamy sauce around the chicken.

  5. 5

Gradually sprinkle in the curry powder, stirring continuously to ensure the spice is evenly distributed throughout the sauce.

  6. 6

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot with basmati rice or naan bread.

💡 Chef's Tip

For extra richness, stir in a splash of heavy cream at the end. Leftovers reheat beautifully the next day — the curry flavor deepens overnight!
