🛒 Ingredients

20 servings

20
  • 8 tbsp powdered milk
  • 8 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ can sweetened condensed milk (for the dough)
  • 1 tbsp margarine at room temperature (for the dough)
  • 100 g unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp margarine at room temperature (for the filling)
  • ½ can sweetened condensed milk (for the filling)

Directions

  1. 1

Make the dough: combine powdered milk, cocoa powder, and margarine. Gradually stir in the condensed milk until you get a smooth, firm dough.

  2. 2

Roll the dough into a ball, seal it in a food bag, and refrigerate while you prepare the filling.

  3. 3

Make the filling: mix shredded coconut, margarine, and remaining condensed milk until evenly combined. No cooking needed.

  4. 4

Place the dough on a sheet of plastic wrap and roll it out to about 0.5 cm thickness.

  5. 5

Spread the coconut filling evenly across the entire surface of the dough.

  6. 6

Using the plastic wrap as a guide, roll the dough tightly into a log. Work slowly to avoid cracking.

  7. 7

Keep the roll wrapped in plastic and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  8. 8

Unwrap and slice into rounds roughly 1 cm thick. Serve chilled.

💡 Chef's Tip

If the dough cracks while rolling, warm it briefly in your hands. For cleaner cuts, freeze the roll for 10 minutes and use a sharp knife.
