🛒 Ingredients

4 servings

4
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Directions

  1. 1

Combine the heavy cream, cocoa powder, sugar, and butter in a medium saucepan. Whisk together until the mixture is smooth and well blended.

  2. 2

Place over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce begins to simmer and small bubbles form at the edges.

  3. 3

Reduce heat to low and keep stirring for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.

  4. 4

Remove from heat and drizzle generously over your favorite cake, ice cream, or brownies.

💡 Chef's Tip

For a deeper flavor, swap half the cocoa powder for melted dark chocolate (70% cacao). A pinch of sea salt added at the end balances the sweetness perfectly.
