🛒 Ingredients

4 servings

4
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 395 g)
  • 3 tablespoons sweetened cocoa powder (such as Nesquik)
  • ¾ cup (200 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. 1

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and cocoa powder. Whisk together until completely smooth and lump-free.

  2. 2

Reduce to low heat and cook, stirring constantly with a spatula, for 5–8 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly and begins to pull away from the sides of the pan.

  3. 3

Remove from heat and stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract, mixing until the sauce is silky, glossy, and pourable.

  4. 4

Allow to cool for 5 minutes before drizzling over desserts. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

💡 Chef's Tip

Add a small pinch of sea salt at the end of cooking to deepen the chocolate flavour and balance the sweetness of the condensed milk.
