🛒 Ingredients

3 servings

3
  • 2.2 lbs (1 kg) chicken wings
  • 1 onion
  • 2 lemons (juice)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. 1

Roughly chop the onion and blend it with the lemon juice and Dijon mustard for about 1 minute until you get a smooth marinade.

  2. 2

Add the peeled garlic cloves, chopped parsley, and grated parmesan. Blend for another minute, then season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 3

Place the chicken wings in a large bowl or zip-lock bag. Pour the marinade over them and toss to coat evenly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor.

  4. 4

Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Arrange the wings in a single layer in the basket and cook for 15 minutes, setting the remaining marinade aside.

  5. 5

Flip the wings with tongs, spoon the reserved marinade over them, and cook for another 15 minutes until deeply golden and crispy.

  6. 6

Serve hot alongside a fresh green salad, roasted vegetables, or steamed rice.

💡 Chef's Tip

Pat the wings dry with paper towels before marinating — moisture is the enemy of crispiness. Swap Dijon for whole-grain mustard if you prefer a more rustic, textured flavor.
