1
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 397 g)
  • Same amount of whole milk
  • 1 can heavy cream (7 oz / 200 g)
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon margarine or unsalted butter
  • 7 oz (200 g) good-quality white chocolate, finely chopped

Directions

  1. 1

In a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the condensed milk, whole milk, heavy cream, flour, and margarine.

  2. 2

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches a gentle boil and thickens slightly.

  3. 3

Remove from heat immediately and add the finely chopped white chocolate.

  4. 4

Stir vigorously until the chocolate is completely melted and the cream is smooth and glossy.

  5. 5

Stir in vanilla extract or your preferred flavoring, then let the cream cool completely before using as a filling.

💡 Chef's Tip

For a firmer filling, whisk in an extra tablespoon of flour during cooking. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
