🛒 Ingredients

4 servings

4
  • 200 g (7 oz) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 tablespoons full-fat milk powder
  • 200 ml (¾ cup) cold heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon pastry emulsifier

Directions

  1. 1

Beat the softened butter with an electric mixer on medium-high speed for about 2 minutes until pale, fluffy, and creamy.

  2. 2

With the mixer running, add the condensed milk in a slow, steady stream, then incorporate the milk powder one tablespoon at a time until fully blended.

  3. 3

Pour in the cold heavy cream and continue beating for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

  4. 4

Add the emulsifier and beat on high speed for 3 to 5 minutes until the frosting is light, airy, and has slightly increased in volume.

💡 Chef's Tip

Make sure your butter is truly at room temperature — it should dent easily when pressed. Using cold cream straight from the fridge helps the frosting hold its shape. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
