🛒 Ingredients

4 servings

4
  • 300 g (10 oz) cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • A handful of fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. 1

Melt the butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant and lightly golden — watch it carefully so it doesn't burn.

  2. 2

Add the shrimp and toss to coat in the garlic butter. Cook over medium-low heat for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are heated through and well coated.

  3. 3

Squeeze over the lemon juice, season generously with salt and pepper, and scatter the chopped parsley on top. Serve immediately with crusty bread or steamed white rice.

💡 Chef's Tip

For an extra-glossy, restaurant-style sauce, swirl in one tablespoon of cold butter off the heat just before serving and stir until fully melted and incorporated.
