- ¾ cup sour cream or crème fraîche
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Emmental or Gruyère)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion (optional)
- Fine salt and ground black pepper
- Nutmeg (1 pinch)
