🛒 Ingredients

6 servings

6
  • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) skinless chicken thighs
  • 150 g (⅔ cup) mayonnaise
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, to taste
  • Salt, black pepper, and your favorite herbs to taste

Directions

  1. 1

Pour boiling water over the cleaned chicken thighs and let them rest until the water cools completely, then drain and pat thoroughly dry.

  2. 2

Season the chicken generously with minced garlic, fresh parsley, salt, pepper, and your chosen herbs, rubbing the mixture well into the meat.

  3. 3

Drizzle olive oil over the bottom of a baking dish and arrange the seasoned thighs in a single layer without overlapping.

  4. 4

Using a spoon or spatula, spread a generous layer of mayonnaise over each thigh, covering the entire surface as though buttering a slice of bread.

  5. 5

Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake at 350 °F (180 °C) for 30 minutes.

  6. 6

Remove the foil and continue baking until the chicken is beautifully golden and cooked through.

💡 Chef's Tip

For extra depth, stir a teaspoon of Dijon mustard into the mayonnaise before spreading. You can also marinate the seasoned chicken in the refrigerator for 1 hour before coating for even more flavor.
