🛒 Ingredients

10 servings

10
  • 700 g (1.5 lb) seedless green grapes
  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk (2 × 14 oz)
  • 1¼ cups heavy whipping cream, divided
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 200 g (7 oz) dark chocolate (55–70% cacao), chopped

Directions

  1. 1

Remove grapes from the stem, rinse under cold water and pat completely dry with paper towels. Set aside.

  2. 2

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine condensed milk and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan, about 15–20 minutes.

  3. 3

Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then stir in ¼ cup of the heavy cream. Set aside.

  4. 4

Melt the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water, stirring until smooth and glossy.

  5. 5

Remove from heat and whisk in the remaining 1 cup of heavy cream until you have a silky ganache.

  6. 6

Spread the condensed milk cream evenly across the bottom of a large baking dish or serving bowl. Arrange the grapes in an even layer over the cream.

  7. 7

Pour the chocolate ganache over the grapes, spreading gently to cover. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  8. 8

Decorate as desired and serve cold.

💡 Chef's Tip

For cleaner portions, refrigerate overnight. Try red grapes for a stunning color contrast against the dark ganache.
