🛒 Ingredients

2 servings

2
  • 600 g sirloin steak (or any grilling cut)
  • Coarse sea salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs

Directions

  1. 1

Remove the steak from the refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking. Pat completely dry with paper towels and brush lightly with olive oil on both sides.

  2. 2

Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C (400 °F) for 3 minutes. Season the steak generously with coarse salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

Place the steak in the air fryer basket fat-side down and cook at 200 °C for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.

  4. 4

Remove from the air fryer, tap off any excess salt, and let the steak rest for 2 minutes before slicing and serving.

💡 Chef's Tip

For medium-rare, reduce cooking time to 10 minutes; for well-done, increase to 14–15 minutes. Tuck a garlic clove and a sprig of rosemary into the basket for extra aroma.
