🛒 Ingredients

10 servings

10
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 395 g)
  • 2 cans whole milk (same measure as condensed milk)
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  1. 1

Combine sugar and water in a microwave-safe glass dish. Microwave on high for 6 to 7 minutes, checking every minute, until the caramel turns golden amber. Be careful — it is extremely hot!

  2. 2

Immediately pour the caramel into a microwave-safe flan mold, tilting to coat the bottom and sides evenly. Let cool completely.

  3. 3

Blend the condensed milk, whole milk, and eggs in a blender for about 1 minute until smooth and well combined.

  4. 4

Gently pour the blended mixture over the cooled caramel in the mold.

  5. 5

Microwave on high for 10 to 12 minutes until the custard is set. Allow to cool to room temperature, refrigerate for at least 2 hours, then unmold onto a deep serving plate and enjoy.

💡 Chef's Tip

To check doneness, insert a knife in the center — it should come out clean. If the center still jiggles, microwave in 2-minute increments. Always unmold cold for the best presentation.
