  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
  • 1 cup heavy cream (very cold)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Directions

    Hull the strawberries and cut them into quarters. Place them in a mixing bowl.

    Add the sugar and Grand Marnier, then toss gently. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours, stirring once or twice.

    In a large bowl, whip the very cold heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.

    Gently fold in the sour cream until the mixture is smooth.

    Divide the strawberries and their syrup into 6 glasses or dessert bowls. Top generously with the whipped cream mixture.
