🛒 Ingredients

20 servings

20
  • ¾ cup (200 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 packets pineapple-flavored powdered drink mix (such as Tang)
  • 1 ripe fresh pineapple
  • ¾ cup (200 ml) water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Directions

  1. 1

Combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and pineapple drink mix powder in a blender. Blend for 2 minutes until completely smooth and creamy. Refrigerate while you prepare the pineapple.

  2. 2

Peel the pineapple, remove the fibrous core, and slice into rounds about ½ inch (1 cm) thick.

  3. 3

Place the pineapple slices in a saucepan, cover with water, add the sugar, and bring to a boil. Simmer over medium heat for 10–15 minutes until the pineapple is tender.

  4. 4

Drain the pineapple, reserving the fragrant cooking syrup. Once cooled, cut into small even cubes.

  5. 5

To assemble: brush each cake layer generously with the reserved pineapple syrup, spread the chilled cream filling evenly, and scatter the pineapple cubes over the cream. Layer to your liking.

💡 Chef's Tip

For the firmest filling, refrigerate the cream for at least 30 minutes before assembling. A splash of white rum in the soaking syrup adds a delightful tropical twist for adults.
