🛒 Ingredients

6 servings

6
  • 2 sachets of unflavoured powdered gelatin (about 20 g)
  • 10 tablespoons cold or room-temperature water
  • 200 ml hot water
  • 15 ripe strawberries
  • 15 seedless grapes
  • 1 medium peach

Directions

  1. 1

Sprinkle the unflavoured gelatin into a bowl, add the cold water and let it bloom for 2 to 3 minutes until it forms a paste.

  2. 2

Pour in the hot water and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

  3. 3

Wash the fruit well, remove the stems, seeds and stone, then cut into smaller pieces.

  4. 4

Arrange the fruit in a small to medium dish, depending on how thick you want the jelly.

  5. 5

Pour the gelatin over the fruit and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, until set.

  6. 6

Cut into small squares and enjoy well chilled!

💡 Chef's Tip

Use ripe fruit so you get plenty of natural sweetness without added sugar. Classic gelatin is animal-based, so swap it for agar-agar (about 2 g per 500 ml of liquid) if you want a vegetarian version. Feel free to change the fruit with the seasons - kiwi, mango or raspberries all work beautifully.
