4 servings

4
  • 10 tablespoons whole milk powder
  • 5 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 200 g (7 oz) unsalted butter, cubed
  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream, very cold
  • ½ can (200 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg yolk, strained through a fine sieve
  • A few drops of pure vanilla extract

Directions

  1. 1

Cut the butter into small cubes and add it to the mixing bowl along with all remaining ingredients.

  2. 2

Beat at high speed for 15 minutes until the frosting is smooth, creamy, and slightly fluffy.

  3. 3

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours until the frosting firms up.

  4. 4

Remove from the fridge and use immediately to frost and cover your cake.

💡 Chef's Tip

Sift the milk powder before mixing to avoid lumps. Keep the heavy cream very cold for the best texture. Once applied to the cake, refrigerate until ready to serve.
