🛒 Ingredients

4 servings

4
  • 1 packet of jelly powder (flavour of your choice)
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (about 400 g)
  • 1 can of whey-free heavy cream (about 300 g)
  • 250 ml boiling water
  • 250 ml ice-cold water

Directions

  1. 1

Pour the boiling water into a bowl and dissolve the jelly powder completely.

  2. 2

Add 200 ml of the ice-cold water and stir until smooth.

  3. 3

Transfer to a blender, add the condensed milk and cream, and blend for about 4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Freeze for 3 hours.

  5. 5

Remove from the freezer and whip with an electric mixer for 10 minutes to break up the ice crystals.

  6. 6

Pour into an airtight container and return to the freezer for 4 hours before serving.

💡 Chef's Tip

Whipping the mixture a second time gives an even airier texture. Use well-chilled, whey-free cream for a creamier result, and let the ice cream soften for 5 minutes before scooping.
