🛒 Ingredients

6 servings

6
  • 1 kg chicken breasts or thighs, cooked in 1 chicken stock cube and shredded
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can (400 g) sautéed tomato sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 160 g thin crispy potato straws
  • 250 g cream cheese (ricotta or similar)
  • 100 g grated parmesan

Directions

  1. 1

Sauté the chopped onion in a drizzle of olive oil until soft and translucent. Add the shredded chicken and cook for a few more minutes, stirring well.

  2. 2

Pour in the tomato sauce, season with salt and pepper, stir to combine, and let simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.

  3. 3

Transfer the mixture to a lightly greased baking dish. Spoon dollops of cream cheese evenly over the top.

  4. 4

Sprinkle generously with grated parmesan, then cover the entire surface with the crispy potato straws.

  5. 5

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (390 °F) for about 20 minutes, until the top is golden and crispy. Serve immediately.

💡 Chef's Tip

For maximum crunch, add the potato straws only in the last 5 minutes of baking. Leftovers reheat well in the oven at 180 °C for 10 minutes to restore some crispiness.
