🛒 Ingredients

8 servings

8
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (7 oz) heavy cream
  • ¾ cup passion fruit juice
  • Pulp of 2 passion fruits
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Directions

  1. 1

Combine the condensed milk, heavy cream, and passion fruit juice in a blender. Blend on high for 2–3 minutes until light and completely smooth.

  2. 2

Pour the mousse into individual serving glasses or a large bowl. Place in the refrigerator while you prepare the coulis.

  3. 3

In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together the passion fruit pulp, water, and sugar. Cook for 18–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until reduced by about one-third and slightly syrupy.

  4. 4

Allow the coulis to cool for a few minutes, then spoon it gently over each mousse serving.

  5. 5

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving well chilled.

💡 Chef's Tip

For extra lightness, fold a spoonful of lightly whipped cream into the mousse before chilling. This dessert tastes even better made the day before — the flavors meld beautifully overnight.
