  • 1 fresh pineapple, peeled and cored
  • 4 cups (1 liter) of water
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 395 g)
  • 1 can light cream or heavy cream (7 oz / 200 g)
  • 2 packets pineapple-flavored gelatin

Directions

    Pour the water into a saucepan and bring to a boil.

    Dice the pineapple into small cubes and add them to the boiling water along with the sugar.

    Let the mixture simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.

    Strain the mixture through a fine sieve, keeping the cooking liquid in a bowl.

    Stir the gelatin packets into the hot cooking liquid until fully dissolved.
