In a saucepan, add the rice, water, and a pinch of salt. Cook over low heat until the water is completely absorbed. Set aside.
- 2
Prepare the vinaigrette by mixing the diced tomato, finely chopped onion, parsley, vinegar, a splash of olive oil, and a pinch of salt. Keep chilled.
- 3
Heat a skillet until very hot with a little oil or butter. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
- 4
Let the meat rest for 1 minute before serving so it remains tender and juicy.
- 5
Plate the dish by arranging the meat, the hot rice, and a generous spoonful of vinaigrette on top or on the side.
💡 Chef's Tip
Choose high-quality, tender meat. Do not exceed 3-4 minutes per side for a juicy texture. The key is a very hot pan to achieve a nice crust.
