  • ¾ cup heavy cream or crème fraîche
  • 3.5 oz grated cheese (Emmental, Gruyère, or Parmesan)

  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Nutmeg to taste

    Peel the potatoes, slice them into thin rounds, and cook them in salted water for 8 to 10 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
