🛒 Ingredients

3 servings

3
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup shredded provolone
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • ⅔ cup (150 g) cream cheese
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. 1

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until lightly golden and fragrant.

  2. 2

Add the mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan and cream cheese. Stir continuously over low heat until all the cheeses are fully melted and combined into a smooth, lump-free mixture.

  3. 3

Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently for 1–2 minutes until incorporated.

  4. 4

Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the sauce is silky and homogeneous.

  5. 5

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. 6

Serve immediately over pasta or grilled meat, finishing with an extra sprinkle of grated Parmesan.

💡 Chef's Tip

For extra depth, stir in a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg along with the cream. If the sauce thickens too much, loosen it with a splash of warm milk.
